Initial contact
When you inquire with Field and Hand for your floral design, one of our first steps will be to schedule time to talk about you and your wedding event. During this conversation, we’ll go over the details of the elements you would like to have alongside of you at your wedding or event. We’ll go over color palettes, overall feeling, and how to best match your vision with your budget.
After we say ‘see you later’, we’ll get to work creating a custom proposal for you. This document will include a general mood board, along with itemized descriptions, visuals, and price points for each element. You’ll have time to review it and request changes as needed before committing. A non-refundable deposit along with a signed contract is what will officially sign you on to working with us.
After booking
After you’ve officially booked with us, you can kick back and relax (or focus on other aspects of planning). We’ll touch base along the way, and are always happy to discuss revisions, additions, or other changes you’d like up until it’s time to pay the final deposit 2 weeks prior to the event date.

Our Floral Design Services
Full Service Weddings
Let us help bring all of your floral dreams to life for your big day! If you don’t know much about flowers, we’ll help to translate the things that are important to you into beautiful floral pieces that are a reflection of you, your partner, and your shared love.
Delivery/setup is included in the full service minimum. Tear down can be added for an additional cost.
When to reach out: At least 6 – 8 months in advance, but the earlier the better!
2024 full service minimum investment: $6000
2025 Full service minimum investment: $7000
handpicked weddings
If flowers are one of the most important elements of your wedding planning process, but you don’t have the budget to meet our full service minimum, this is the service for you. Our Handpicked Wedding service allows you to select the floral elements you need, and the color palette of your dreams, and we’ll do the rest to provide you with a garden party themed celebration.
Delivery, setup, and teardown are not included in this service, and cannot be added on.
When to reach out: At least 3 months in advance

Micro Weddings & Elopements
For the couples who prefer a more intimate setting to share their vows, you’ve come to the right place. Full service florals include personal flowers for the couple, altar or arch florals for the ceremony, and four small centerpieces.
Delivery/setup and or tear down, along with additional florals can be added for an additional cost.
When to reach out: At least 3 months in advance
2024 full service minimum investment: $3000
2025 full service minimum investment: $3500
Special Events
Everyone knows that a party doesn’t start until the flowers arrive (right??). Showers, birthday parties, holiday gatherings – you name it, we’d love to provide the flowers.
Delivery is included in full service minimum. Setup and/or tear down can be added for an additional cost.

How much do wedding flowers usually cost?
The floral plan for each wedding is completely customized based on time of year, elements needed, scale of arrangements, bridal party size, and SO MUCH MORE, so it’s impossible to give an accurate answer without diving into your specific floral needs. With that said, our couples typically spend an average of $7k-$10k for full service wedding florals
How far in advance do I need to book?
We would love to hear from you at least 8 months out from your full service wedding, or 3 months from a smaller wedding or elopement, but the sooner you reach out the better to ensure your date will be available
Where are you located?
We are located in Pittsburgh, PA, and typically take on projects within 2 hours of the city
Is there a minimum budget or spend?
Services for full service wedding flowers start at $6000 for the 2024 season, and micro wedding or elopement floral services start at $3000
How do I get started with the inquiry process?
First thing you’ll want to do is fill out our inquiry form. This will let us know of your interest in our services, and if we have your date available. Next, we’ll schedule a consultation call to gather some more details, and hear about all your floral goals and dreams. You’ll receive a custom proposal after that, and if it seems like we’ll be a good fit for each other, we’ll be well on our way to creating so much floral goodness together!
